This damn song has been stuck in my head. Some UBC Engineers (allegedly anyway) had created this blasphemous video (okay, so its just funny, not blasphemous). You can see Wreck beach, UBC, areas close to Vancouver airport etc.
Their antics are homo erotic as per one of my co-workers (an ex UBC Engineering student himself), I guess he's right there and there is a nudey old fogey in it as well. It is hillariously funny though that these fellows spent the time to make such a well done video, makes me wonder what they do for projects in school. I know a couple of Engineering students (sadly, they don't seem to have the trademark Red jacket) who seem to have cool things to do for projects. One is actually building a sailboat out of carbon fibre and racing it somewhere apparently. Pretty neat stuff. The best I did in school was a OS kernel on a simulator. Not quite the same cool factor.
But back to the point: the damn song. Its banned in my corner of the office on account of it getting stuck in people's heads... and I am afflicted by it as well. That little bugger is on my iPod and even is a ringtone on my mobile phone thanks to bluetooth technology. I am hooked. Someday... I will break free. Until then... dance like the fellows in the video and Dragostea Din Tei.
